Halloween in Ponte Vedra & Nocatee: Events, Trunk-or-Treats, and Trick-or-Treat Times for 2026

The honest Halloween 2026 roundup for Ponte Vedra and Nocatee: trunk-or-treats, the EstuSCARY trail, pumpkin patches, and when to hit the streets on trick-or-treat night.

It's that week, the best week of the year in Nocatee and Ponte Vedra. Halloween has a way of bringing this whole community out, golf carts decorated, driveways lined with jack-o-lanterns, and the kids counting down the days. Here's the roundup of what's happening around town for Halloween 2026, including the trunk-or-treats, the big trails, pumpkin patches, and when to hit the neighborhood streets.

Trunk-or-Treats

First Baptist Nocatee, Trunk of Treats

Wednesday, October 28: one of the bigger organized trunk-or-treats in the area, a safe, fun setup for the younger crowd. Free. Check First Baptist Nocatee's site for the exact start time.

Nocatee Community Trunk or Treat

Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 pm at 70 Greenleaf Drive: a free neighborhood trunk-or-treat.

A quick note: several other churches and clubs run their own trunk-or-treats the week before Halloween, so keep an eye on your community app and local church calendars for the ones closest to you.

Trails, Rides, and Festivals

EstuSCARY Haunted Trail at GTM Research Reserve

October 29 through 31: the walk-through haunted trail at the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, set up at the South Beach access parking lot, 2200 S. Ponte Vedra Blvd, Ponte Vedra Beach. Starts at 7 pm, $30. This one skews older kids and brave adults, so it is a date-night pick, not a first-timer's trail.

Witches Ride for Charity

Saturday, October 24 at 5 pm at Post Park at Twenty Mile: costumed riders take a golf-cart parade lap for charity. Free to watch, $30 to ride. This is one of the most fun things to see in Nocatee all year, kids love pointing out the decorated carts.

Pumpkin Patches

Happy Haunts Pumpkin Patch

895 Palm Valley Rd, Ponte Vedra: open through October 31, weekdays 3 to 7 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 9 pm. The local go-to for picking a pumpkin without driving to a farm.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch

Ponte Vedra Beach: the church runs a fall pumpkin patch. Check their calendar for the dates and hours this season.

Trick-or-Treat Night

In Nocatee, trick-or-treating on Halloween night typically runs about 6:30 to 8:15 pm on Saturday, October 31. Twenty Mile and the other family-heavy sections are the places to be for young kids, sidewalks are wide and houses are close together. Watch the Nocatee community app for the official hours, they can shift slightly year to year.

A Halloween Tradition for the Grown-Ups Too

And the parents get in on it too. This year a crew of us went as Troop Beverly Hills, wilderness girls and all. Once the kids wrap their candy route, the grown-ups get their own turn at the fun. If you spot a line of green berets and shields making its way through town, that's us.

A quick honest note: all of these dates and times come from community event listings and calendars in mid-October 2026, and organizers occasionally move things, so double-check with the venue or the church before you load up the golf cart. If I've missed your favorite event, text me and I'll add it.

Text or call me anytime at 502-419-9571 and I'll point you to the right event for your family, or just wave when you see me out there with a bag of candy. If you're weighing a move to Ponte Vedra or Nocatee and wondering what Halloween feels like from your own front porch, send me a question and let's plan the chapter that starts here.
